Greenwood Community Centre was the first school opened in Hampton Hill in 1860 and later served as the church hall. Extensively renovated and modernised in 1993, today Greenwood Community Centre is an attractive and homely building, full of interesting activities for the local community.
The Centre is the base of Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care, a charity and company limited by guarantee. The charity, established in 1974, is a now thriving organisation and runs Greenwood Community Centre on behalf of the Hampton Fund (previously known as Hampton Fuel Allotments Charity).
The Greenwood Centre Community offers a number of comfortable meeting rooms and a large hall available at affordable rates to local community groups and local people for business, recreational, health and education purpose as well as social events, children’s parties and other celebrations.
